An Italian translator, a Spanish teacher and two wonderful children

Let us introduce ourselves: my name is Marco, I am 43 and work as a technical translator for my own company, Qabiria, a company specialised in language consulting. I come from Italy (born in Rome, but lived in Brescia, near Milan, from the age of seven). I speak (more or less fluently) Italian, Spanish, English and German. I like reading, basketball, comics and cinema. And web design, of course (I have put together the pages you're reading).

Dori is my wife. She is a few years younger than me. We met in 1997 and got married five years later. She works as a teacher in a public primary school. She was born and raised in Badalona, which is considered the cradle of basketball in Spain. That's why she enjoys watching this sport. Actually, we first met during a game! Dori likes her profession in school very much: she loves children. She also likes making jewelry with beadings, cross-stitching, gardening and strolling.

Sara

Sara is our daughter. She was born in 2008. She has her own website, saracevoliplazas.eu, although we don't update it very often... Sara's a wonderful daughter, very well-behaved, lots of energy: she practices swimming, ballet dancing, roller-skating, but she also reads a lot!

Nicola

Nicola is our son. He was born in September 2014. He laughs a lot. He has a very good teacher, his sister...

Dori's sister lives very close to us (5-minute walk), so in case of necessity, you can rely on her help. By the way, all the neighbours are kind people, so do not worry about that. For the emergencies, there is a chemist's around the corner, and an emergency ward nearby.
